A Call To Arms For Religious Liberty + What I Wore Sunday

Before the frivolity begins, please take note that the deadline for submitting comments on the latest version of the HHS Mandate is tomorrow, MondayApril 8, at midnight.  This mandate requires employers that are not churches or religious orders per se, to facilitate providing contraception, sterilization and early abortifacients, without a co-pay, to female employees and the daughters of employees.

Anyone can submit a comment.  Just follow this link: http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=CMS-2012-0031.  While you’re at it, go to Women Speak for Themselves, and sign the open letter to President Obama, HHS Secretary Sebelius, and Members of Congress.

So anyway, I was going to wear this today:

Pat politely indicated that he doesn’t like the belt-over-a-jacket look.  He also said “Wear whatever the hell you want,” or something to that effect.  But, eh, I compromised:

The sunlight was not cooperative.

  1. Belts over jackets are always SO tricky for me! How do some gals make it look effortless? (And don’t you love when the Hubsters give there “objective” opinions..but then say, “But wear what you want…” ha!) You look great though! And your little girl is precious…her jacket! Love! I enjoy reading your blog 🙂

  2. I kinda like the belt over the jacket! But then I like the necklace you got to flaunt with it the other way. Your daughter’s coat is gorgeous, too.
